Kerosene Lamp

This kerosene lamp is very similar to many
used in period post lamps. It is made from copper; all of the
fittings are solid brass. The burner is a duplex burner with
two wicks; the top and base of the chimney are round and the
bulge, or larger central portion, is oval shaped to improve the
draft. The filler cap and hoop are both machined - not stamped
- so the threads match perfectly resulting in trouble free removal
and tightening. This lamp is ideal for use in post lamps and
it also makes an ideal table lamp for power outages and mood
lighting.
